Your GeoSafari Platinum Edition includes activity pages that reinforce or extend the GeoSafari games. Players use information learned during game play or contained in the GeoSafari Glossary entries to solve puzzles, play word games, test memory skills and use their own creativity and imagination to enhance learning. These activity pages are perfect for both home and school use.
This Read Me file contains information for parents and teachers about how to use the activity sheets most effectively, as well as instructions for printing out the worksheets.
Follow these instructions to view and print out the GeoSafari Activity Sheets.

Suggestions for Parents
When To Do Activity Pages
The best time to do an activity page is after your child has mastered a game and received a medal in his or her Awards Case.
What To Do
Each activity page corresponds to a GeoSafari game.
1. Print out the activity pages that go with the games your child has successfully completed.
2. Read the activities with your child, gathering any materials (pencils, crayons, etc.) needed to do the activities.
3. Discuss the directions. (Some activities will require your child to use the GeoSafari Glossary or other resources.)
4. Do the activities together, or let your child complete them independently.
5. Once completed, refer to the Answer Key at the end of the Activity Sheets document. (Remember to praise your child’s efforts, even when the results are not perfect!)
6. Place all completed activities in a special place such as a GeoSafari folder or a 3-ring notebook.
Suggestions for Teachers
GeoSafari is a great way to introduce students to new information or to reinforce material already learned in class.
Ways to Use GeoSafari in the Classroom
Number of players
GeoSafari has a variety of player options. A student can play independently or several students can compete against one another in the multiple-player or multiple-team modes. Choose the ones that best fit the needs of your classroom.
Games
GeoSafari is great for introducing new material or reinforcing lessons. For example, after completing a unit on the United States, have the entire class play those games that reinforce the material (U.S.A. States 1 and 2, U.S.A. Capitals 1 and 2, U.S.A. Attractions). Some teachers, however, prefer giving students free reign to play any games that pique their interest. Whatever method you use, a student should get a perfect score and receive a medal for a particular game before working on the corresponding Activity Sheet.
If students are all working on the same game, print and reproduce the activity sheet that corresponds with that game. If students are working on various games, you should make multiple copies of each activity sheet and place them in file folders (or some type of retrieval system) so that they are readily available after perfect scores are attained.
